As of June 2011, the press publication and copyright administration at all levels had handled 3,381 IPR infringement cases with a value of 283 million yuan, handed over 179 cases to judicial authorities, raided 1,548 dens and seized 3.133 million pieces of illegal goods, according to a conference on the development of the campaign on combating IPR infringement and manufacture and sales of counterfeit and inferior quality commodities held by the General Administration of Press and Publication.

　　According to the seventh joint operation launched by the National Copyright Administration, Ministry of Public Security, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on striking Internet piracy, it cumulatively seized 1,148 cases of its kind, punished 466 cases, transferred 36 cases to judicial authorities, announced 15 typical cases to the public.
